Google Analytics
We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they use before coming to this site. We only use the information from Google Analytics to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.
We use Google Analytics 3rd-party audience data such as age, gender, and interests to better understand the behavior of our customers and work with companies that collect information about your online activities to provide advertising targeted to suit your interests and preferences. For example, you may see certain ads on this website or other websites because we contract with Google and similar companies to target our ads based on information we or they have collected, including information collected through automated means (such as cookies and web beacons). These companies also use automated technologies to collect information when you click on our ads, which helps track and manage the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
You may opt out of the automated collection of information by third-party ad networks to deliver advertisements tailored to your interests by visiting the consumer opt-out page for the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ and edit or opt-out your Google Display Network ads’ preferences at http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
Starting May 15, 2017, Remarketing Audiences created in Google Analytics will be enhanced to automatically take advantage of new cross-device remarketing functionality now available in AdWords and DoubleClick.
Where users have chosen to enable Google to associate their web and app browsing history with their Google account and use information from their Google account to personalize ads, Google will use data from its signed-in users and Google Analytics data to build audience lists for cross-device remarketing. To support this feature, two things will happen: First, for users of this site, Google Analytics will collect Google-authenticated identifiers associated with users’ Google Accounts (and, therefore, personal information). Second, Google Analytics will temporarily join these identifiers to Google Analytics data to support your audiences.
